We are notified by Nicky today that our (Caroline's) CIS has been submitted to Hanoi. This is the last step!!!!! Once we receive CIS approval we are good to go, assuming that we have a G&R date assigned to us as well. The wait time for CIS approval was thought to be be approximately 3-4 weeks, well now it is greater that that, about 6 weeks. If I remember correctly, we were told that the gov't has 60 days to approve. SO, with all that being said, we should be able to go get Caroline in no more that 60 days. I have felt all along this process that we would be completed in February. I know that Tet is February 7th, and everything just gets put on hold, but I still feel like February. Remember it is a leap year so we have an extra day in February.
