CNY at The Borowiak's

On Saturday evening we celebrated CNY with friends at the home of Trevor & Jackie Borowiak. We had a great time. Each family brought a chinese dish for everyone to try. There was chinese candy and fortune cookies. The candy was.....I don't know how to explain nicely.......gross. Most of us did try it. I was asked to bring a cake. The food was very good. The only thing is I dipped some chicken for the girls and it turned out to be spicy. It wasn't long before Lindy was sticking her tounge out and pointing to it with a grunt.

We gathered all the kids for photos, grouping them accroding to countries. The oldest is Jace who is 12. The youngest is Ava who turned one in Jan.

We all talked about our trips, compairing notes. Others brought scrapbooks to share. It was a very nice evening. The girls were wiped out!
