Anaia was born on July 29^th, 1999 according to the note that was pinned to her clothing.  Her name means “beautiful language”.  For the last 9 ½ years she has lived in the Beijing area of China.  She is currently in 2^nd grade at Gao Ling Yi Elementary School in the Shunyi district.  We are told she loves dancing and singing and that she is very gifted in learning language.  We have reason to believe she was in rural foster care for quite some time, until she started school.  We hope and pray that we will be able to bring her home by early Fall.  Our orphan petition went to CIS on January 21^st and our dossier is almost complete.  Now we begin the first leg of waiting.  It has been taking about 3 months to receive approval from CIS – then our dossier will be complete and we will be ready to send everything to China.
