The Long Road- and Another Bright Spot

Ugh.  This new Hague sponsored wait from LOA to TA continues to drag on.  (If you are trying to mentally do the math- I will save you, today is day 48.)  We are all literally climbing the walls.  We have started school- trying to work ahead because of the time we will miss, but the focus factor is a major issue for all of us.

If we do not get our TA in the next week or so, travel in September will be impossible.  National Day and The Autumn Moon Festival take over the first week of October- closing the doors to processing an adoption.  Add in the trade fairs in Guangzhou the last two weeks and our agency mandates that no one may travel in Oct.  I don't think we will make it till November without at least some of us totally losing it.

We were provided with another gift- a picture of our daughter courtesy of the family we should travel with.  It was taken at her daughter's "birthday party" (they bought their daughter a cake for her 13th birthday and had it sent to the CWI.)  It is by far the sweetest picture we have of her as of yet and we are soooooo grateful.  Of course my heart aches all the more, pondering how she must be wondering why we are taking so long to come...  This is so hard- no matter how I look at it and try to understand, I am really having difficulty in finding peace.  My head understands that God's timing is perfect, but my heart- the heart He gave me, is a mother's heart...desperate to be joined with her daughter's.
